Nordica has updated the Santa Ana freeride skis for 2025 resulting in a more refined and balanced ski with even greater versatility, while retaining the power and performance that the original skis were known for.
Strongly built solid skiers for energetic advanced and expert skiers, the Santa Anas lots of performance but were not the most playful or accessible skis.
For 2025, Nordica have given these skis a new core design and shape, making them more fun, lighter and more agile, without lowering performance. The new design will appeal to a broader range of skiers.
The new Santa Anas have a more friendly relaxed character allowing you to ski at speed without having to concentrate like a Formula 1 pilot and letting you enjoy the skiing and make more creative turns thanks to the slightly more upswept tails.
Don't think however that Nordica have toned down the performance of the Santa Anas, which remain strong skis for energetic skiers.
The most versatile model in the series, the Santa Ana 97 is at home in all conditions and whatever the terrain.
Combining power with playfulness and versatility, the Santa Ana 97 has a new build that pairs a dual wood core / elastomer Pulse core with a sheet of terrain-specific metal.
With sufficient width for excellent soft snow performance, the Santa Ana 97 offers a smooth ride with superb feedback and control, letting you ski with confidence and make the most of the day, every day.

TSM Pulse Core: To create a ride that’s as smooth as it is stable, Nordica’s Santa Ana construction pairs both a wood core and an elastomer Pulse core with a sheet of terrain-specific metal. This construction is also incredibly responsive to amplify your confidence and maximize your performance and fun.
- Exceptional response boosts precision and control
- Dampens vibrations for a smooth and supple ride
Terrain Specific Metal: By adding the same shaped metal plate inside the skis, it increases proportionately with the decrease of the last. Through this technology, Nordica was able to design unique constructions better suited for different terrain. The narrower Santa Ana have more power and stability on trail, while the wider constructions are more enjoyable off-piste and on softer snow.
- Lighter with metal dampening
- Stability where you need it
- Playfulness where you want it
Base Graphic Explained: The running base design has a specific geometric shape to show two features of the ski: A horizontal cut indicates where the rocker starts. The intersection of the diagonal cut with the edge shows the widest point of side cut for full engagement of the edge.
True Tip: By trimming the amount of heavy ABS plastic in the tip and extending the lightweight wood core into this area with a taper that further reduces weight, enhanced playfulness and maneuverability of the ski without compromising that unmatchable feeling of powerful and control. The next generation is upon us.
- Lighter
- Smoother
- More maneuverable
New Shape Tail: Nordica has refined the rocker on this collection and dialed up the control so you can play on your terms at all speeds, in any type of terrain.
