We know the freestyle DNA of the ARV range but the new 2025 ARV 112 goes well beyond the skier target and the backcountry freestyle program.
With its long and low rockers in the tip and tail, its poplar core and its straight edges all along, the ARV 112 almost leans towards freeride with its ultra healthy and rigorous behavior, and its very good grip in all conditions.
Solid underfoot but flexible at its ends, the ARV 112 maintains a very playful character, with a bounce and dynamics that will delight the most playful of backcountry skiers.
The ARV 112 will please both the traditional skier who is looking to gain flexibility thanks to the powerful rebound of a freestyle ski and also to freestyle backcountry skiers wanting to put a little freeride DNA in its ski to be able to engage with more serenity when the conditions are less than ideal.
This new Armada ARV 112 is one of our favorites this winter, a resolutely modern ski that really rejuvenates classic freeride skiers and will bring young, spirited freestylers to maturity! An ambitious program :)
Features:
- Rocker Type: AR Freestyle Rocker – Rockered tips and tails are combined with positive camber underfoot to allow the ski to charge with ease through unpredictable snow and maintain a solid carve when asked to do so. Turn the whole mountain into your playground.
- Flex (1=Soft, 10=Stiff): Tip: 6 | Mid: 6 | Tail: 7
- Poplar Core: Stability, power and ease are paramount in this 100% Poplar wood core. For those looking for predictability and smoothness the Poplar Core delivers in all snow conditions.
- Ash Binding Insert: Ash binding inserts provide maximum strength and binding retention with a more sustainable construction than binding inserts made from other materials
- W3dgewall Sidewall: The w3Dgewall is a 3D molded, injected sidewall that’s angled where it joins the wood core, creating a mechanical bond in the mold during ski construction for a stronger, more uniform connection between the sidewall and core.
- S7 Base: Durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness.
- 2.5 Impact Edge: Oversized and specially heat-treated, this edge is built to resist impact damage in the most demanding situations.
- Binding Compatibility: We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
