The XV Sashimi is constructed and designed to schmear the lines between playful, progressive, and full-send modes. Developed in partnership with 3X FWT winner Xavier De Le Rue to fit between the XV and XV Sushi series. Softer than the XV for ease of use, narrower and longer than the XV Sushi for manoeuvrability and float.

  • Amptek Elite: Rossignol’s three award-winning camber/rocker blends are each tailored to a specific riding style. Rocker at the tip and tail offers increased maneuverability, floatation, and fun. Camber between the inserts guarantees stability and edge grip.
  • Reverse Directional: Stiff under front foot for confident control, softer waist for easy manipulation, medium stiff under the rear foot for smoother turns and nimble maneuverability.
  • L.I.T.E. Wood: Combinations of poplar, birch, and ash are used in all models delivering the utmost durability and performance.
  • L.I.T.E. GRIP: Designed for The new throwback fish-shape, GRIP L.I.T.E. core technology introduces an entirely new era of edge control. Integrated urethane strips bend toward and away from the edge of the board, creating extra pressure on toe and heel sides for increased edge grip when you need it, never when you don’t.
  • L.I.T.E. Technology: A stripe of urethane runs through the core of the board, delivering full length edge shock absorption (frame), enhancing sidecut radius response to pressure (asym) or edge hold (grip), improving ride quality and board maneuverability without sacrificing performance. L.I.T.E. tech core structure is not only another visibly breaking through innovation brought to you by your friends from rossignol, it is also the most advanced ride control feature you can ask for these days.
  • Glass Fiber: Delivers customized flex with increased torsional resistance and stability.
  • TPU: Combining high tensile strength and very good low-temperature flexibility, our thermoplastic polyurethane stripes absorb vibrations and allow a greater response to pressure.
  • Sintered 7500: A premium sintered material which readily absorbs wax and will out-run your riding buddies’ bases without breaking a sweat. You better get used to waiting. 
  • ABS Sidewall: Provides enhanced durability while keeping the core safe from moisture.
  • Radcut Technology" A traditional sidecut between the inserts fuses with multiple reverse sidecuts toward the tip and tail, providing real time sidecut adjustment to the ride, ie. Longer when faster, shorter when slower, and delivering the perfect cut at all times. Radcut is offered in multiple versions, each tailored for individual riding styles. More aggressive sidecut blends deliver quicker, livelier turns while smoother sidecuts offer a more fluid, relaxed ride.
