Nordica Santa Ana 88 Skis - Women's 2020
The 2020 Nordica Santa Ana 88 Women's skis are a new offering this year from Nordica, and they aim to build off of the enormous success of the Enforcer/Santa Ana line. As the narrowest of the series, the Santa Ana 88 is the most front-side oriented ski of the group. The 88 mm underfoot width is extremely versatile, and skiers will love both the carving and the all-mountain performance of this new ski. Adding to the carving prowess of the skis are carbon stringers that stiffen the ski without adding much weight. These make a big difference and you can feel the stiffness, although not overbearing, when you are cruising at high-speeds. They have some great pop and energy coming out of the turn. They have quite a bit more snap and torsional stiffness than the 93, and the edge hold is fantastic, especially for a ski 88 mm wide underfoot. The rocker profile is great for all-mountain performance, with a rocker/camber/rocker profile that allows for proper turn initiation and completion. This can handle a wide variety of turn shapes and styles, as well as an abundance of terrain and snow condition variations. For years, the Santa Ana collection has been at the forefront of women's freeride skis, and the 88 is poised to make a huge splash as one of the best carving, most versatile skis out there on the hill.
